Meet Joey Carney, Tennis Pro at The Beach Club
Joey is the former Head Professional for Club Med Resorts and The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Florida. A graduate of the prestigious John Newcombe Tennis Academy, he has developed successful tennis programs around the world.
As a USPTA Elite Professional, Tennis Canada Pro-1, and USRSA Master Racquet Technician, Joey brings both technical expertise and a passion for the game to every lesson. He loves being on court with players of all ages and skill levels, believing that tennis should always be fun and full of those “magic moments” both on and off the court.
When he’s not coaching, Joey enjoys our beautiful Gulf beaches, spending time with his wife and family, and spoiling his rescue dog, Zoey. A true tennis enthusiast, he also collects vintage racquets and lives and breathes the sport he loves.
