You AND Your Vacation, Protected
Updated November 9, 2020
On Nov. 5, Governor Kay Ivey extended the current “Safer at Home” order, which includes the mask mandate, through Friday, December 11 (when new guidelines will be announced). Masks must be worn when you are within six feet of a person from another household in all indoor spaces open to the general public, a vehicle operated by a transportation service, or outdoor public spaces where 10 or more people are gathered.
Masks are not required on beaches or outdoor spaces as long as you maintain a safe six-foot social distance from non-household members.
The state has also lifted occupancy limitations for retailers, gyms and fitness centers as well as entertainment venues, restaurants and close-contact businesses like hair and nail salons. However, for restaurants, gyms/fitness centers, and close-contact businesses, in order to allow for normal capacity, customers must wear masks and be separated by impermeable partitions or barriers like plexiglass.
The statewide order can be viewed in its entirety here.
We request all persons on property wear face coverings when outside their individual units. This includes hallways, elevators, lobbies, etc. when you cannot distance yourself from other guests. Guests under 6 and those with medical conditions are excluded.
We understand every guest’s comfort level is different. While our team strives to encourage guests to follow health mandates from Governor Kay Ivey, we are unable to ensure each guest follows these protocols. We ask guests to take personal responsibility for themselves and their families in deciding when they feel it’s safe to travel.
