COVID-19 Updates

In response to the recent orders from Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, The Beach Club will implement the following:

  • The beach will be closed effective March 19 at 5 p.m. and will reopen on April 17.
  • Coast and The Village Hideaway will be carryout/delivery only. Carryout orders may be picked up at The Village Hideaway East door (by The Creamery). Delivery is for resort guests only. A special menu will be offered during this time. Order online or Call 251-224-3560 to place your order. Gulfside Bar & Grill and the Tiki Bar will be closed until April 17. The Creamery is closed until April 17.
  • The following amenities are closed until April 17: The Clubhouse (to include indoor/outdoor pools, fitness center, arcade), The Spa, The Village Mercantile, The Creamery, all tower pools, hot tubs and playground.
  • Kids’ activities are canceled until April 17.

Spectrum Resorts understands that the safety concerns of our guests are real and are of the utmost importance. We hope you will join us when it’s safe to do so.

We are happy to offer a 100% refund to any guests wishing to cancel due to coronavirus concerns. You can also reschedule your trip without losing your deposit. In addition, we have compiled a list of resort information regarding the virus, as well as steps we are taking for the safety of our guests. In addition, you can refer to the CDC’s website for specific information on the virus. Spectrum Resorts is following the guidance of the governor and the CDC for its policies regarding COVID-19.

How We’re Helping to Protect Our Guests

Things are rapidly changing as new mandates from Governor Kay Ivey and CDC guidelines are provided. We will publish updates as they arise.

  • Pool furniture is sanitized daily as needed, however, all pools are closed.
  • The resort is using hospital-grade disinfectant recommended by the CDC to fight COVID-19 throughout the resort.
  • The Clean Bed Guarantee ensures all coverlets are freshly laundered prior to every arrival. Other vacation rental management companies only launder comforters and coverlets quarterly or a few times a year.
  • Disposable menus will be used for take-out service in restaurants. Guests may also call ahead to place their orders.
  • Grocery delivery is temporarily suspended.
  • Public self-service coffee and water stations are temporarily suspended.

A: Yes, in the unlikely event the resort closes, you will receive an email if you have an existing reservation.
