Join upwards of 300,000 shrimp lovers at the Annual National Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores every October. Looking forward to its 40th year in 2011, the Annual National Shrimp Festival is a four-day celebration that features fine arts, live entertainment, a family activities area, and mouthwatering shrimp dishes. Admission to the festival is free.

Shrimp Festival Collector's Poster -
An annual fixture since 1981, the Annual National Shrimp Festival poster is a coveted item. Each year a local artist is chosen to create the official festival poster. The artwork from the poster is incorporated into other festival merchandise, and the poster itself is regarded as a collector's item.
